Routine inspection revealed rodent droppings in office area and fruit fly infestation throughout dining and storage areas. Espresso grounds contaminated ice machine requiring full ice disposal. Multiple equipment cleaning issues and improper sanitization procedures were corrected on-site with staff education.

Mice produce 50 droppings daily containing Salmonella and hantavirus. Cockroaches carry 33 bacteria types and 6 parasitic worms. Rats spread plague and leptospirosis.
What Was Observed
Observed fruit flies in the dining area and refuse storage area and dry storage area, landing on items stored here. Insect droppings (orange in color) observed on/under shelving in the dry storage and refuse storage area. Observed a few rodent droppings on the floor under the desk in the office area. Remove fly tape and RAID observed in the refuse storage area and discontinue use of these unapproved pest control methods.

COS - education provided; drink that ice was used in was voluntarily discarded and ice scoop was re-washed, rinsed, and sanitized.
