Mice produce 50 droppings daily containing Salmonella and hantavirus. Cockroaches carry 33 bacteria types and 6 parasitic worms. Rats spread plague and leptospirosis.
What Was Observed
-Observed a desiccated rodent on a glue trap behind the refrigeration units in the rear of the store and a couple of old rodent droppings by cases of water stored directly on the ground. Corrected on site - Per Inspector's request, the glue trap was discarded and droppings were removed.

1. IMMEDIATELY discontinue the use of pesticide/poison in the food facility; all pesticides/poison should be adminstered by pest control operator. HIRE LICENSED PEST CONTROL, if needed. -Observed glue traps that had uncontainerized poison on them on the sales floor and in the back storage area. Corrected on site - Per Inspector's request, all poison near food was immediately discarded.
