Routine inspection revealed rodent droppings in basement with cluttered storage impeding pest control monitoring, plus old cat feces in upstairs window. Glass refrigerator failed to maintain proper cold holding temperatures between 43-50°F, requiring dairy products to be relocated. Additional violations included unapproved household pesticides, dense inventory storage hindering cleaning, grimy fan guards, non-self-closing restroom door, and damaged floors and ceilings.

Mice produce 50 droppings daily containing Salmonella and hantavirus. Cockroaches carry 33 bacteria types and 6 parasitic worms. Rats spread plague and leptospirosis.
What Was Observed
Observed rodent droppings in basement which were being cleaned during inspection. Facility has evidence of pest control but is very cluttered. Please improve food storage to facilitate more effective monitoring for vermin. Observed old dried cat feces in upstairs window. Per PIC, no cat lives here. No cat observed. Please clean feces whenever it is observed and sanitize affected areas. Corrected on site by cleaning.

What Was Observed
A-Food must be stored 6 inches off ground. B-Dry goods should be stored in food grade containers with lids, and labels. Facility is very densely packed with inventory such that cleaning and monitoring for vermin is impeded. Please work to reduce inventory and provide better storage, elevate all food 6 inches off floor. Please clean spilled grain under bulk goods to help reduce available food for rodents.

Temperature abuse causes 63% of foodborne outbreaks. Clostridium perfringens multiplies rapidly between 70-120°F. Listeria grows even at refrigeration temperatures.
What Was Observed
Glass 3 door refrigerator was holding (ambient) between 50F (Front) and 43F (back) with infrared thermometer. Dairy products (milk, yogurt) relocated to working refrigeration. Please lower thermostat and monitor this refrigerator to verify that it is holidng at or below 1F. Corrected on site by relocating dairy to refrigeration holding at or below 41F.
