HANDS CLEAN AND PROPERLY WASHED; PROPER GLOVE USE (CORRECTED ON SITE)
Why This Matters
Sewage contains billions of pathogens including hepatitis A, norovirus, and E. coli. One tablespoon contains 100 million bacteria. Causes immediate severe illness.
What Was Observed
Observed employee used gloved hands to show inspector Food Handler Card on phone, put away phone, adjust something on the cookline, and then start to rinse vegetables in the sink without washing hands between tasks. COS - inspector stopped employee and provided education which was translated into Chinese by operator, gloves were removed, and hands were washed. - NOTES REINSPECTION Reinspection revealed compliance with violations noted on the routine inspection report dated 9/23/25. On this date, observed the following corrections: - Food Handler Card obtained for employee that was cooking - No improper employee eating/drinking observed - Proper handwashing discussed with operator and staff (see #5 - COS) - Wiping cloths observed properly stored inside >100ppm Cl solution; cutting board observed cleaned and no ants observed today - Cookline and equipment, fridge gaskets, cup sealer, and under steam table were observed clean and free of grease - Cardboard was removed - No improper storage of personal items observed - Peeling wall and cove base areas have been repaired and cleaned Thank you for your compliance.
