Inspector discovered approximately 7 dead cockroaches on adhesive traps near storage stairs, triggering a mandatory reinspection. The facility also had a prep refrigerator holding food at unsafe 43.7°F temperature which was corrected on site, insufficient hot water at the warewashing sink reaching only 114.5°F instead of required 120°F, and maintenance issues including grease buildup, wooden sink leg, and a restroom door that fails to self-close.

Why This Matters
Mice produce 50 droppings daily containing Salmonella and hantavirus. Cockroaches carry 33 bacteria types and 6 parasitic worms. Rats spread plague and leptospirosis.
What Was Observed
Observed approximatly 7 dead cockroaches on 2 adhesive boards next to stairs to upper storage area. Please continue to work iwth licensed pest control to ensure facility is free from vermin. No free moving live cockroaches observed. Please clean and sanitizer affected areas, send pest control report to district inspector. Reinspection will occur to verify no vermin.
