Reinspection found most previous violations corrected, but facility still lacks valid food safety manager certification and food handler cards for three employees. Empanadas held at unsafe temperatures without proper time controls were corrected on-site. Additional cleanliness and wiping cloth storage issues were also addressed during inspection.

Foods held over 4 hours at room temperature reach dangerous bacteria levels. Staphylococcus aureus produces heat-stable toxins that cause severe illness.
Mushroom, pork, chicken, and vegetable empanadas measured 77F located on the front service counter without any methods of temperature intervention. Upon questioning, employee stated that the empanadas were all cooked and placed on the counter 2 hours prior to the inspection. No time stamp was observed on the empanadas. COS - Employee provided a time stamp to the empanadas.
