Mice produce 50 droppings daily containing Salmonella and hantavirus. Cockroaches carry 33 bacteria types and 6 parasitic worms. Rats spread plague and leptospirosis.
What Was Observed
Mouse feces observed on floor in basement under shelving units and corners, and on top of a bag of flour. CONTRACT WITH A LICENSED PEST MANAGEMENT PROFESSIONAL TO ELIMINATE RODENTS FROM PREMISES. FOLLOW ALL RECOMMENDATIONS AS PROVIDED BY PEST MANAGEMENT PROFESSIONAL ON SERVICE REPORT. PROVIDE INSPECTOR WITH SERVICE REPORT VIA EMAIL: Patrick.wood@sfdph.org Continue storing all food items at least 6 inches off of floor. (NOTE: Most recent pest control report available was dated 6-2-2025; no rodent activity or treatment was mentioned on this report. Text message from pest control that indicated a service on 9/19/2025 was also provided, but did not include the report.).
