Mice produce 50 droppings daily containing Salmonella and hantavirus. Cockroaches carry 33 bacteria types and 6 parasitic worms. Rats spread plague and leptospirosis.
What Was Observed
CONTINUE to exclude rodents from the facility premises. MONITOR daily for activity. REMOVE all evidence of rodents and CLEAN and sanitize affected areas. - Observed a few rodent droppings on the retail shelving near the coffeemate and shell pasta, on the floors in the back storage rooms, and near the basement stairs. COS - affected areas were cleaned and sanitized at time of inspection.
