Why This Matters
Mice produce 50 droppings daily containing Salmonella and hantavirus. Cockroaches carry 33 bacteria types and 6 parasitic worms. Rats spread plague and leptospirosis.
What Was Observed
1) Observed rodent droppings in the following areas:
- The ledge behind the ice machine.
- The ledge behind and underneath the dish-washer.
- The corners between the shelving units for the cleaning supplies.
- The bottom shelf behind the boxes of potatoes and bag of onion.
- The corner behind the dry storage area door.
- Side ledges in the back storage area. *SWEEP, CLEAN, and SANITIZE. CONTINUE to work with your pest control to ELIMINATE all vermin entryways. Provide an updated pest control report to Jessica.Jang@sfdph.org.*
