Inspector's Report

Multiple violations found including rodent droppings on food storage bins and shelving, uncovered food items lacking protection, and poor waste management with lidless dumpsters. Several violations were corrected on-site including removal of droppings and relocation of unprotected food items.

Mice produce 50 droppings daily containing Salmonella and hantavirus. Cockroaches carry 33 bacteria types and 6 parasitic worms. Rats spread plague and leptospirosis.
Observed two old flaky rodent droppings on top of a plastic bin of food storage. Corrected on site- Per Inspector's request, employees removed rodent droppings and sanitized the affected surfaces.

Raw chicken drips contaminate everything below with Salmonella and Campylobacter. Cross-contamination causes massive outbreaks affecting hundreds.
Observed some cans of juice that lacked plastic covering stored on shelving and boxes that had plastic covering missing are used for pizza takeout stored in a bottom shelving. Corrected on site - Per Inspector's request, items were immediately relocated to a protected area

Dirty surfaces harbor pests and serve as bacteria reservoirs. Accumulated grease and food debris attract cockroaches and rodents.

Observed directly outside the warehouse there is a collection of dumpsters that lack lids. Observed an accumulation tree/bush cuttings in the surround area outside the facility that may attract rodents.

Clutter provides harborage for rodents and cockroaches. Cardboard harbors cockroach eggs. Each egg case contains 30-40 nymphs.
Observed two of the bay doors are open for the warehouse and neighboring storage containers. Observed the plastic seal on bay doors that are closed may be access by rodents by pushing through the rubber seal.
