Mice produce 50 droppings daily containing Salmonella and hantavirus. Cockroaches carry 33 bacteria types and 6 parasitic worms. Rats spread plague and leptospirosis.
Observed mouse droppings on top of the ice machine downstairs. These droppings were immediatley cleaned and the affected area sanitized with chlorine bleach. There did not appear to be an undue risk of droppings contaminating the ice inside the machine. Observed mouse droppings in several locations: beneath the dishwash machine, beneath and behind the wire shelves near the dishwash machine, on the floor around the ice machine, and on the floor beneath and behind various wire shelves downstairs.
