Mice produce 50 droppings daily containing Salmonella and hantavirus. Cockroaches carry 33 bacteria types and 6 parasitic worms. Rats spread plague and leptospirosis.
Work with your licensed pest control operator to eliminate rodent activity. Clean and sanitize all affected areas. Monitor for vermin activity. Observed rodent droppings in boxes storing prepackaged noodles at customer sales shelf. Observed accumulation of old rodent droppings on floors at back of house storage area where deep freezer containing ice was located. Send most recent pest control reports to montre.tieu@sfdph.org
