NO INSECTS, RODENTS, BIRDS OR NONSERVICE ANIMALS
Why This Matters
Mice produce 50 droppings daily containing Salmonella and hantavirus. Cockroaches carry 33 bacteria types and 6 parasitic worms. Rats spread plague and leptospirosis.
What Was Observed
Observed old rodent droppings on the floor next to the walk-in fridge, ice machine, underneath the wire racks, and possibly in the front service area. Observed a pest control receipt from Dewey dated August 2025. Per PIC another more recent service took place. Please note that evidence of vermin activity and/or contaminated food can lead to immediate permit suspension. Clean and sanitize all affected surfaces and perform a cleaning in hard to reach areas such as under/behind equipment such as fridges/freezers, tables, ice machine, etc. Have an additional pest control service done after the cleaning has been done.

FOOD CONTACT SURFACES: CLEAN AND SANITIZED (CORRECTED ON SITE)
Why This Matters
Dirty cutting boards and utensils cause 76% of cross-contamination. Biofilms protect bacteria from cleaning. One contaminated surface spreads pathogens to dozens of foods.
What Was Observed
Sanitizer solution was not readily available and workers were not aware of the need or how to make. A properly concentrated solution was made and tested by the inspector. 114117, 114125(b), 114141
