Mice produce 50 droppings daily containing Salmonella and hantavirus. Cockroaches carry 33 bacteria types and 6 parasitic worms. Rats spread plague and leptospirosis.
Observed a small amount of rodent droppings on the left floor sides of the white upright freezer adjacent to the door to the hallway. Observed the back mesh door with a loose weather strip and a gap greater than 1/4" underneath. Per the manager, the back door is for the garbage area of the residential units and the food facility next door. Per the manager, the facility currently has regular monthly licensed pest control service. The manager provided a copy of the recent licensed pest control invoice/inspection report from 10/2/25. Inspect the facility floors for any additional signs of rodents (droppings). Remove the rodent droppings from the floor sides of the white upright freezer. Clean and sanitize the floor after removal of the rodent droppings. Seal any openings in the facility with vermin proof materials (work with the building management/owner). Moitor for any new signs of rodents in the facility. Continue to clean on a regular basis. Continue to work with the licensed pest control to eliminate rodents in the facility.
