Inspector's Report

Tea FM passed reinspection after addressing rodent infestation with pest control service and deep cleaning. However, multiple violations were found including improper hot and cold holding temperatures (boba at 125F, half and half at 77F), wastewater draining into bucket, ice machine with mold, missing food safety manager certification, and no sanitizing solution available during business hours. Follow-up required within 7-30 days for documentation.

Observed no sanitizing solution was made available. Per Person in Charge, the facility had been operating for 3 hours. Observed employee wipe down the food preparation table with a cloth with no measurable sanitizing solution. Observed the ice machine has pink and white mold-like residue on the interior of the machine.

Observed no hand soap was available at the handwashing sink at time of inspection. Corrected on site - Per Inspector's request, liquid hand soap was supplied.

Temperature abuse causes 63% of foodborne outbreaks. Clostridium perfringens multiplies rapidly between 70-120°F. Listeria grows even at refrigeration temperatures.
Observed boba being held at maximum hot temperature of 125F when 135F is required. Observed half and half containing milk and cream on the counter measuring 77F at time of inspection. Per employee, the half and half had been out at room temperature for 1 hour.
